Fact-checking and Open-source reporting
I produce in-depth fact checks to identify and debunk misinformation and disinformation across social, digital and traditional media for Soch Fact Check, Pakistan’s only IFCN signatory and Meta’s third-party fact-checking partner. See my fact-checking portfolio here.
In my role as an open-source reporter, I use advanced open-source intelligence methods, including geolocation, chronolocation, satellite imagery analysis, and metadata analysis, to investigate and contextualise complex stories. Some selected stories include:

In The Sheriff We Trust
In The Sheriff We Trust is a multi-part investigation by the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism at Arizona State University in collaboration with the Arizona Center for Investigative Reporting. The monthslong investigation found that the controversial sheriff group, the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) had expanded its reach across the U.S. by holding rallies, events and conducting trainings for law enforcement.
